What you need to make missions:

You will need the 1.05 patch (See below to download) installed first, then, install the 1.06 patch (Again see below to download) OVER the 1.05 patch. Make sure you run projpat.exe after installing both or it won't work also. That's it. The new FAQ should answer most of your questions... Good luck!

Help! I've got questions!

There are 2 mailing lists currently active to discuss making missions. merc-dev@www2.activision.com and mission-editor@midnightfantasy.com, merc-dev is a general mission discussion group, mission-editor is a group of us dedicated to making a mission editor for Win95 (Direct Draw and Direct 3D are gonna make this thing easy and fast, only reason why were using it... sorry, I hate it too, but time and ease of use are key components here.

Where do I get the patches?

To get the 1.05 patch goto ftp://206.40.194.2/activision/mercs/merc105p.htm

To get the 1.06 patch click Build19.exe to download it (Make sure to hold down shift MS users or you'll be running straight from the site!)

We are creating missions and working with Dan and JJ on getting all theinfo required to use the tools and get the tools that were left off the CDto make this a reality! If you have a REAL interest in doing this, jointhe MW2 mission-editor list!
